The Selection Committee for the 2011 Interorganizational SIG Lifetime Achievement Award (George John-Chair, Joe Cannon and Steve Carson) has completed deliberations. The committee has unanimously agreed to confer the award to F. Robert Dwyer, Ph.D. the Joseph S. Stern Professor of Marketing at the University of Cincinnati. The committee noted Bob’s seminal research on buyer-seller relationships as well as his strong commitment to the academy through his work with the Direct Marketing Association.
The committee received many outstanding nominations, all of whom deserved the award. Many thanks go to the committee for all their efforts and to the IOSIG members for nominating outstanding scholars in the field.
The award will be presented to Bob at the IOSIG Member Reception to be held at the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Summer Educators’ Conference on Saturday, August 6th, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
