O. C. Ferrell of the University of New Mexico has been named recipient of the 2011 Academy of Marketing Science Harold Berkman Service Award

Each year a committee of the Board of Governors of the Academy of Marketing Science considers candidates for the Harold Berkman Service Award. This award is one of the most prestigious honors that can be bestowed on a member of the Academy and is reserved for individuals who have distinguished themselves through exemplary long-term service. The recipient will have demonstrated his/her accomplishments through their actions and statements, and will have at all times acted with integrity and high ethical standards.
I am delighted to report that, by unanimous vote, O.C. Ferrell of the University of New Mexico has been named recipient of the 2011 AMS Harold Berkman Service Award. Congratulations, O.C., for this well-deserved honor.
