Academics encouraged to attend MSI conference “Sources and Uses of Customer Insights” June 23-24
MSI encourages academics to attend our conference on “Sources and Uses of Customer Insights” taking place June 23-24 in Chicago. It is a terrific opportunity to network both with fellow academics and with academically-minded practitioners.
What it’s about
Co-chaired by Professor Gavan Fitzsimons of Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, this conference will explore the opportunities and challenges of integrating new and traditional approaches to consumer behavior. Topics will include studies of non-conscious processing, using social media for customer insights, leveraging data for novel insights beyond basic web analytics, and incorporating customer insights in the design and innovation process. Presentations will explore recent advances in theories, tools, and techniques available to marketers who seek to gain a deeper understanding of their customers.
