2012 WINTER GLOBAL CONFERENCE ON BUSINESS AND FINANCE (GCBF) HONOLULU, HAWAII, JANUARY 3-6, 2012
You are invited to participate in The 2012 Global Conference on Business and Finance (GCBF) – Honolulu, Hawaii. The Conference, sponsored by The Institute for Business and Finance Research, LLC (IBFR), will be held from January 3-6, 2012 at the Ala Moana Hotel, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. Theoretical and empirical papers in all areas of marketing, management and related fields are welcome. Papers do not need to be global in nature. English and Spanish language sessions will be offered. An Internet Session will be offered for those unable to make the trip to Hawaii.

Submit a 200-word abstract, work-in process or full paper to: submissions@theIBFR.com Early submissions are greatly appreciated. All submissions must be in Microsoft Word or Acrobat PDF format. Include the contact information for all authors on the first page of the document.

JOURNAL PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES
The Conference is affiliated with eight peer-reviewed journals: International Journal of Management and Marketing Research, Global Journal of Business Research,Accounting and Taxation, The International Journal of Business and Finance Research, Business Education and Accreditation, Review of Business and Finance Case Studies, Agribusiness Research, and Revista Internacional Administración & Finanzas. Please visit our website for journal specific distribution, indexing and ranking information, including: EBSCOHost, SSRN, Cabell’s Directory, Ulrich’s Periodical Directory, The American Economic Association’s Econlit, e-JEL, JEL on CD and other rankings. Papers honored with the Outstanding Research Award at the conference will be offered publication in one of our journals. In addition, papers receiving the Best Paper in Session Award are reviewed for possible journal publication.
PUBLICATION IN THE REFEREED CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
Publishing in the Refereed Conference Proceedings is optional and free to registered and paid conference attendees. You can publish a 200-word abstract, a 5-page version of your paper or a full paper (not to exceed 12 properly formatted pages).
OUTSTANDING RESEARCH AND BEST IN SESSION AWARDS
Registered and paid attendees may submit their paper for award consideration and possible publication in one of our journals (a double-blind review process will be applied). Award winners will receive a certificate and Award Plaque at the award luncheon. Best in Session Award Winners will be selected in each session. Award winners will receive a certificate at the award luncheon and are invited to submit their papers for possible publication.
CONFERENCE FEES
Conference registration fees are not refundable or transferable. At Least one author per paper must register and pay the registration fees. All attending author must register and pay the registration fee. Conference registration is US$340 for the first paper. Non-presenting participants are welcome and are subject to the US$340 registration fee. The registration fee for full-time presenting and non-presenting students is $310 (documentation of full-time student status is required). There is an US$80 fee for each additional paper. A $50 late fee applies for registration fees received after November 15, 2011. An additional $50 fee applies for papers having five or more authors. HOTEL
We encourage you to stay at the conference hotel and to arrange for your lodging early. Hawaii is a popular destination at this time of year and hotels regularly sell out. We have arranged for a small block of rooms at the Ala Moana Hotel at the special rates of $119 for the Kona Tower (one queen bed only, single or double occupancy only). Waikiki Tower rooms are $139 per night double occupancy or $179 per night triple occupancy. These Group rates will be honored, Saturday December 31, through Monday, January 9, 2012. FOOD AND BEVERAGE
During the reception, Hor’dourves and soft drinks will be provided by the Institute for Business and Finance Research. The networking luncheon will be sponsored by Review of Business and Finance Case Studies. The award luncheon will be sponsored by The International Journal of Business and Finance Research and Business Education & Accreditation. Additional luncheon tickets are available for purchase for those participants attending with a guest(s) or spouse. The price per ticket is $30.
