The University of Arkansas and the Villanova School of Business are pleased to announce the annual preconference event of the Public Policy & Marketing Conference that is scheduled to take place on June 2, 2011 at the same hotel from 8AM until 5PM. This forum brings together leading scholars in the field with Ph.D. students of all levels and junior faculty who have an interest in changing the world. The day will open with breakfast and casual conversations and move to methodological issues, substantive domains, controversial issues, agency research needs, and new financial disclosures at the Treasury. Faculty participants are Pam Ellen, Josh Weiner, Ron Hill, Stacey Baker, Scott Burton, Lauren Block, Betsy Moore, Greg Gundlach, Debbie Scammon, Bill Wilkie, Ray Taylor, Paul Bloom, Jerome Williams, Steve Kopp, Jan Pappalardo, Alan Levy, Jeanne Hogarth, Sonya Grier, and members of Treasury Department.

There is no extra charge for this event. Graduate students must submit a one-paragraph summary of their interests in public policy and marketing for consideration, and junior/pre-tenured faculty may do the same or submit an abstract or a recent paper within our substantive domain. They must be received by Ron Hill via email (Ronald.hill@villanova.edu) no later than March 1, 2011. Decisions will be made by March 15, 2011. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the event organizer at the above email address or 610.306.1911.
