Emerald’s Emerging Markets Case Studies Collection is proud to announce an award aimed at supporting authors of teaching cases based in India.
The award is aimed at supporting faculties and doctoral students at leading business schools in India who wish to write decision-oriented teaching cases on Indian business as well as on business and management practices in other emerging economies.
Would you like to share your teaching cases with an international audience while receiving editorial support and a cash prize in return? Here is what you need to do:
- Familiarize yourself with Emerald’s Emerging Markets Case Studies Collection
- Send us a proposal for a teaching case that you are considering submitting for inclusion in the collection. The proposal should include:
- Name of the company about which you wish to write the teaching case study.
- A brief on the topic of the case including issues to be covered, its relevance to the emerging economy
- Sources of information (both primary and secondary)
- A letter from the company according consent to write the case (A letter of release to be obtained from the company along with the full case during final submission).
The proposals will be reviewed and selected based on their merit. There will be three groups of cases:
- Four best case proposals to receive Rs. 7,500 and editorial guidance.
- Four second best case proposals to receive Rs. 5,000 and editorial guidance.
- Other selected proposals which show promise: authors to receive editorial support and mentorship but no financial support.
Important dates:
- Proposal submission deadline: 28th January, 2011
- Result to be announced: 11th February, 2011
- Deadline for submission of full teaching case: 8th April, 2011
Please note that all cases will go through the review process before they are accepted for publication. All authors will receive editorial feedback and guidance.
