The Center for Innovations in Business & Management Practice is an organization which is dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of innovatory knowledge within the business and management framework. The organization is focused on organizing events, holding conferences and workshops as well as conducting research within the vast areas of business & management. The center wishes to empower its users in order to create improved knowledge, to assist them to share this knowledge and to help members to gain knowledge in various business & management factors. The target audience for the center includes researchers, members of the academia, consultants, as well as managers.

The annual conference on Innovations in Business and Management will take place in London, UK from January 26-27, 2011. The conference is dedicated to research and best practice within the business and management areas. The call for papers is now open. The conference offers researchers a chance to present their work in all areas of business and management.

The annual conference is a place for researchers, academics, and practitioners alike to come together and share their knowledge, research and best practices. The conference is open to all areas of business and management, including but not limited to: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Technology Management, Information Systems, Economics, etc.
Theme
This year’s theme is the impact of globalization on business. Papers that focus on globalization and international business are strongly encouraged, however other papers are also welcome. Areas that could be of interest include, the global financial crisis, international marketing, differences in business practices around the globe, social and cultural dimensions of business, innovations in HR practices, etc. If you are unsure about a particular topic, please email us at admin@cibmp.org.
Quick paper selection process
All papers are blind peer reviewed. However, we endeavor to get back to you in the shortest possible time frame. The conference works on a first come, first reserve basis. Once a paper has been submitted, it will be sent off to reviewers. If the paper passes the criteria for selection, i.e. it gets enough marks from the reviewers, a notification will be sent immediately. Hence, there is no need to wait for deadlines, and you as the author will get a reply in a short period of time, allowing you to make appropriate arrangements for your travel, etc.
Online presentations
For those speakers who are unable to attend the conference physically, you can still have your paper published! We will allow you to make an online presentation. You can send us your presentation and/or a video, which will then be uploaded to the site. This will allow you to have a paper published, and get feedback! Please contact us if you have any issues in getting to London, and would like to arrange an online presentation. You can get in touch with us at admin@cibmp.org.
Important Dates
Although we can provide a relatively fast decision on your paper (within 7-14 days), we do have a limited number of spaces available for presenters. Therefore it is suggested that you send us your papers as soon as possible. Never-the-less the following are a list important dates for you to put down in your diaries:
· Final date for abstract submission: November 30, 2010
(We encourage you to submit your abstract as early as possible to get your feedback about paper acceptance)
· Early bird registration ends on November 15, 2010
· Last date for registration: January 3, 2011
· Conference dates, January 26-27, 2011
Submitting a paper
Please submit an abstract of your paper with a word limit of 600 words. We welcome all forms of research methodologies, including case studies, quantitative research, in-depth interviews, focus groups, other qualitative research, as well as practitioner cases. When submitting the abstract, please make two documents. The first should have the names, affiliations, and contact details of the authors, as well as the title of the paper, and up to 5 keywords that describe the paper. The second document will have the main body of your paper, with its title. Please do not include any author details in the abstract / paper submission.
Once an abstract is accepted, you can chose to either include only the abstract in the conference proceedings, or publish a full paper. Full papers should be no longer than 20 double spaced pages, including references and appendices. Papers should be referenced in the Harvard Referencing format. Papers should be original work, and not have been published elsewhere.

Organize a special session
If you would like to arrange a special session on a particular topic of interest then you will need to submit a proposal for this. The special session can be any topic, however you need to justify its relevant to the conference. You should also specify the proposed speakers within this session. Please note, if you wish to submit a proposal for a special session, you will be responsible for arranging the speakers for this session.
