The Consumer Behavior Special Interest Group is pleased to announce a number of exciting events at the 2010 ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Summer Educators’ Conference in Boston, MA. The full list of events is below.

CBSIG special session on Marketing, Consumption and Consumer Well-being

Saturday from 3:30-5 in Boston Copley room 2 Co-Chaired by Colleen Bee, Oregon State University, VP of Finance for CBSIG & Linda Tuncay Zayer, Loyola University Chicago, VP of Communication for CBSIG The research presentations include:

  • Housing-Induced Vulnerability and Hope-Driven Innovativeness, by Jose Antonio Rosa and Stacey Menzel Baker, University of Wyoming
  • LEED® Your Way to More Value: Occupant Evaluation of Sustainable Building, by Sharmin Attaran, Bryant University and Bilge Gokhan Celik, Roger Williams University
  • How Corporate Social Responsibility Can Enhance Effective Event Sponsorships,by Angeline Close, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Russell Lacey, University of New Orleans, and R. Zachary Finney, University of South Alabama.

The session will be discussed by Cliff Shultz, Loyola University Chicago.

CBSIG and Retail SIG Co-hosted Reception

Following the session, we hope that you can also join CBSIG at a reception co-hosted with the Retail SIG on Saturday 5-7pm to honor the winner of the Retail SIG?s Lifetime Achievement Award and to facilitate networking among consumer behavior and retail research over some cocktails!
