ie-scholars will hold its first doctoral colloquium September 20, 2010 in conjunction with the 13th McGill conference on International entrepreneurship. Doctoral students from any discipline whose research focuses on international entrepreneurship, and at any stage in their doctoral studies, are invited to attend.
 
ie-scholars is a virtual community that facilitates sharing of resources, expertise and knowledge about international entrepreneurship research. Our objective is the acceleration of new ideas and approaches to key theoretical, methodological and conceptual issues in this emerging area of study.
 
ie-scholars is supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Knowledge Cluster program. Our network involves more than 100 researchers around the world.

Ie-scholars advances the study of international entrepreneurship by championing activities and events that accelerate research mobilize research accelerate research, mobilize research
findings, and build a community of like minded scholars.
 
A limited number of places are available in the colloquium. Please apply by completing the application form and sending it by e-mail to Professor Rod McNaughton, University of Waterloo Canada by June 11, 2010 (rmcnaughton@uwaterloo.ca). Those selected to attend the colloquium will be notified by June 18, 2010. All attendees will be awarded a fellowship that covers the costs associated with the colloquium, attending the 13th McGill Conference, and reimbursement of up to $CAN 500 in travel costs.
