Retailing Lifetime Achievement Award
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
We would like to announce an Award sponsored by the Retailing SIG. The award is to acknowledge outstanding contributions in the field of Retailing. A winner will be honored at the Summer ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø conference August 2010 in Boston, where the winner will be introduced during the Retailing SIG reception.
Winners should have contributed a significant body of work, over 20 or more years, in developing and advancing research in the Retailing area. Past winners are Dr. Barton Weitz (2008), Dr. V. Kumar (2009) and Dr. Michael Levy (2009).
Nominations should include information relating to why the potential recipient is deserving of this award, a copy of the nominee’s vita, and references that support this nominee (minimum of 3).
The deadline for nominations is April 15, 2010.
Please submit nominations to: Kristy Reynolds (Retailing SIG immediate past-Chair), University of Alabama (kreynold@cba.ua.edu) (electronic submissions are encouraged). A panel of experts in the retailing academic retailing field will determine the Lifetime Achievement Award winner.
