"," written by Neil A. Granitz, Stephen K. Koernig, and Katrin R. Harich and published in its April 2009 issue (Vol. 31, No. 1).
The winning article made a positive contribution to the marketing education literature by providing qualitative evidence on how marketing educators go about building rapport with their students so as to improve their learning. The building of rapport also was shown to provide a host of other inside and outside the classroom benefits for both students and marketing educators. The authors go on to advise fellow marketing educators on how they should undertake several specific strategies and tactics to establish and/or build rapport with their students.
