The qualitative research landscape has evolved dramatically since the inception of Web 2.0/3.0. Researchers can now perform qualitative research using online communities, focus groups, blogs, ethnographies as well as on social networking platforms.
The international conference on Qualitative Research in Web 2.0 (QRWEB2010) will be held on the 25 & 26 March 2010 in Berlin. This unique and highly interactive conference will bring together academics and industry practitioners to discuss and brainstorm the latest online methodologies for qualitative research.
Conference format:
To encourage maximum interaction and development of knowledge and ideas during the workshop, we plan to limit the number of participants at the conference. The conference format will consist of submitted (reviewed) presentations, poster presentations, invited speeches as well as interactive discussion sessions. As with past events, this workshop will provide excellent opportunities for participants to network with their peers.

Important deadlines:
The deadline for submitting an abstract for review is 30 Nov 2009 extended to 11 Dec 2009, 1700 hrs. You will be notified whether your abstract is accepted for a presentation at the QRWEB2010 conference by 24 December 2009. Final submissions (including revised abstract, papers, powerpoint slides, biography) will have to be submitted by 25 February 2010.
Conference proceedings and journal publications:
All abstracts and accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with an ISBN number. Selected papers will be considered for publications with our journal partners, subject to the usual referee processes applicable to the journals.
