The Academy of Marketing is to hold its annual conference next year (2010) at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, United Kingdom.
The conference is to be hosted by the Coventry University Business School and is centred around the theme of Transformational Marketing.
Academics, doctoral candidates and marketing professionals will be engaging in a stimulating debate about the role of marketing in driving organisational, social, community and environmental change.

- Russell W Belk, Professor of Marketing, Schulich School of Business, York University
- Professor Emeritus Michael J Baker, University of Strathclyde Business School, Glasgow, Scotland
Coventry is an ideal city to host the Academy of Marketing Conference. Not only well known for its historic Cathedral, it is a city that is forward thinking and investing billions into a new, vibrant city centre.
As well as this, the University is in the middle of a multi-million pound redevelopment programme to provide excellent facilities for students. Coventry is a popular student city and has recently declared its intention to become a global University with internationalisation being a core part of its strategy.
