The Cross Cultural Research Conference
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
December 13-16, 2009

NOTE: LAST CALL FOR PAPERS OR ABSTRACTS
Deadline for Submissions: September 15

If you are interested in cross cultural research and haven’t already sent us a submission, this is the last Call for Papers that will be given for the biennial Cross Cultural Research Conference. The deadline for submissions is next Tuesday, September 15. We are accepting extended abstracts, as well as compete papers, and encourage proposals for special sessions.

This year’s conference will be held at the beautiful CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa from December 13-16, 2009. To read the Call for Papers and learn more about the conference and the hotel, visit the conference website at:

The conference attracts cross-cultural scholars from around the world. We always meet in beautiful, sunny, sometimes exotic places in the middle of December. This year is no exception. Puerto Vallarta is a beautiful mid-sized city on the Pacific coast of Mexico with plenty of traditional Mexican culture, as well as fun things to do. The CasaMagna Marriott is equally beautiful, with newly remodeled guest rooms, spa, restaurants and meeting rooms. For conference participants, it is also a great bargain at $120 per night.

This year’s conference promises to provide fun, great companionship with like-minded scholars and an opportunity to learn more about Mexico and its culture. We hope you will consider submitting a paper. We also ask that you share this invitation with other cross-cultural scholars.

JBR Special Issue. Just a reminder that the Journal of Business Research has issued a Call for Papers for a special issue on Cross Cultural Research in conjunction with the Cross Cultural Research Conference. While this is an open call, with JBR accepting manuscripts from scholars who do not attend the conference, those who do attend the conference should be in a stronger position to have their papers accepted since they will receive reviews on work that they submit to the conference, will have a chance to refine their papers, then present their work at the conference. If you are planning to submit a paper for the JBR special issue, we strongly encourage you to submit your work for presentation at the conference.

Best Regards,
