This year’s conference is likely the largest conference in the field’s twenty year history, with 153 presentations scheduled. It will feature a wide array of special sessions, competitive papers, and working papers on important and timely topics such as sustainability, consumer credit, and financial services, as well as numerous health-related topics such as health literacy, obesity, information disclosures, and new forms of health service provisions. In addition, a series of special 20th Anniversary sessions will feature leaders of the consumer movement, former Bureau of Consumer Protection Directors at the FTC, corporate personnel, FDA staff, legal scholars as well as marketing academics all examining pressing policy issues.
