The authors may make an inquiry to the editor (Youngchan Kim; youngkim@yonsei.ac.kr) about the relevance of a particular research topic before submission. The special issue considers both research papers and case developments for publication, and encourages manuscripts written in English.

Dear Marketing Scholars:
Korean Journal of Marketing is inviting paper submissions for a special issue on “Marketing in Asia”.
Since its publication of the first special issue in 2007, Korean Journal of Marketing has a plan to publish a special issue regularly in addition to its regular issues to promote research on current trends and contemporary topics in the field of marketing
The second special issue will be dedicated to the theme of “Marketing in Asia” and is scheduled to be published in April 2009. The authors may make an inquiry to the editor about the relevance of a particular research topic for the issue before submission. The 2009 special issue considers both research papers and case developments for publication, and encourages manuscripts written in English. We believe that the special issue will make a significant contribution to the better understanding of Marketing in Asia.
Dr. Youngchan Kim, a marketing professor at Yonsei University (Seoul, Korea) and the editor of the journal, will handle the upcoming special issue. The manuscripts submitted shall go through the same review process used for regular submission to Korean Journal of Marketing.
Manuscript Format
In order to be accepted, the format of the manuscript must be in full accordance with the submission guidelines found at .
Submission
Manuscripts should be submitted to the Editorial Committee of Korean Journal of Marketing (kmjournal@kma.re.kr) before the new deadline, April 15, 2009. The authors are required to specify that the submission is for the special issue.
Initial submission will be acknowledged by the editor. If you do not receive an acknowledgement shortly after submission please query via the above email address.
