The conference in Marketing and Business, international session is a good opportunity to make academic exchange between academics, promote research cooperation between universities in China and overseas. The China Marketing Association of Universities has members across 600 universities in China and is a famous academic organization in marketing and business area. It is a venue to make an overseas university well known in China and establish friendship within participants. Guilin is situated in the northeast corner of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, hailed by many as the most beautiful place in China and is one of the must-see destinations for most foreign tourists. According to a popular Chinese saying, “Guilin’s scenery bests all others in the world.” Its shapely-rising limestone towers and crystal-clear waters are often portrayed in Chinese artworks. Adding to its natural beauty are many fascinating caves.
Theme of the conference is Consumption Upgrade and Marketing. The purpose of the conference is to stimulate research and to make research cooperation with researchers in marketing and business. There will be more than 200 academics from universities in China and worldwide. It is a venue to exchange academic ideas and make research cooperation. The latest development and newest methodologies in marketing and business applications of special interest.

Paper Submission and Review Process
Participants wishing to present a paper should submit an abstract of about 250 words by 10 March 2009 to the Program Committee. Abstracts should state clearly the purpose, results and conclusions of the work to be presented in the final paper. Paper should include authors’ full name, affiliations, mailing address, telephone, fax numbers and e-mail address. All abstracts will be blind referred by two reviews. Authors will receive feed back by 30 March 2009. Full paper must be submitted by 20 May 2009.

Final papers

Presentations
Speakers will have 30 minutes for their presentations including discussion. All speakers are required to register for conference. All presentation should be in MS Powerpoint (95-2000).

30 March 2009 Notification to authors of outcome of review for abstracts.
20 May 2009 Closing date for submission of conference papers.
