The Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration at The University of Alabama invites applications for a tenured faculty position in Marketing.

Responsibilities include: conduct scholarly research; teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels; and service.

The Chair is expected to have and maintain an internationally recognized level of research scholarship in services marketing and provide leadership in the College’s and Department’s efforts in the area of services marketing. The successful candidate will be expected to mentor doctoral students and other faculty members in developing strong research programs.

Minimum qualifications: Qualified candidates should have a PhD in business or marketing and possess an outstanding record of research, including top tier publications, in an area related to services marketing. Candidates for this position must have a demonstrated ability to conduct research. The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and have distinguished teaching and research records that warrant appointment as a tenured professor at a major research university.

Preferred qualifications: Leadership in collaborative research is beneficial. Research programs of particular interest include, but are not limited to: services marketing, broadly defined, including services marketing strategy, retail services, and service measurement.

Salary is competitive.
