The Graham School of Management at Saint Xavier University seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Marketing with an August 2009 start date. Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1846, Saint Xavier University has two campuses in Chicago and Orland Park, and serves 5,900 undergraduate and graduate students in the Schools of Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, Nursing and Continuing & Professional Studies. The University was recognized among the top most diverse campuses in the greater Midwest in U.S. News and World Report’s 2007 college rankings.

Candidates should possess a doctorate in Marketing from an AACSB accredited business school; ABDs will be considered but must complete the degree prior to start date. Required competencies include demonstrated effectiveness in college teaching and demonstrated ability to successfully conduct scholarly research and publish, consistent with AACSB standards. Preference will be given to individuals with teaching interests in service and international marketing, and the ability to enhance teaching effectiveness with use of relevant technology. Teaching responsibilities include both undergraduate and graduate classes.
