ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Sales SIG – Call for Special Sessions
The ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Sales SIG is requesting proposals for Special Sessions for this Summer’s ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Educator’s Conference being hosted in Chicago, IL from August 7 – August 10, 2009.
The theme of this year’s conference is The Role of Marketing in Defining the Organization’s ‘Sustainability’ Goals. The Sales SIG is soliciting submissions that focus on the role of sales and sustainability issues along with other areas of interest. Along with issues of sustainability we are interested in submissions on Sales Education (innovative teaching methods, syllabus design, classroom activities, etc.), Sales Research (rigorous conceptual and empirical work with intent for future publication), Career Development (i.e., navigating the review process, positioning sales research, advancement, etc.), Sales Center Issues (i.e., creation/development, acquiring support, growth opportunities), International Sales (i.e., research topics and issues outside of the U.S.), Practitioner Presentations (insights from the sales field) and other sales-related topics.
