Marketing and Entrepreneurship Faculty Positions
The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) is seeking tenured/tenure track Marketing and Entrepreneurship faculty members to begin Fall 2009 with the College of Business Administration (CBA, subject to final budget approval. The CBA is AACSB accredited with 2,100 undergraduate, 700 MBA and 40 Ph.D. students. UIC is a major research university located near the heart of Chicago’s business community, about 10 minutes from the downtown “Loop” and Lake Michigan.
The ranks of the marketing faculty positions are open. However, preference will be given to experienced scholars (full, associate, or senior assistant professors) who can contribute to the marketing doctoral and MBA programs. The marketing faculty has a general focus on innovation, marketing, and technology strategies. Requirements include an earned doctorate, a minimum of three years of faculty experience, research publications commensurate with rank, and evidence of teaching excellence. For the tenure-track position(s) in Entrepreneurship, we are particularly interested in individuals with a demonstrated ability to publish in top-tier journals, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and become productively engaged with the Chicago business community. Requirements include an earned doctorate (at the time of application) in entrepreneurship or a related discipline, evidence of teaching excellence, and significant publications.
