Albion College (southern Michigan) Tenure-track marketing job at Albion College, a selective liberal arts college located about an hour’s drive from the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, or Western Michigan University. Top priority is excellence in undergraduate teaching. Applicants also must provide evidence of potential for ongoing scholarship. The Department of Economics & Management at Albion College seeks candidates for a tenure-track position in marketing at the assistant professor level beginning August 2009. Duties: Teaching load is three undergraduate courses per semester. Teaching responsibilities include a marketing principles course and two or three specialized courses in marketing. Additionally, depending on the candidate’s interests and background, other courses could include introductory or honors statistics, another management discipline, economics, a first-year seminar, or an interdisciplinary honors course in the social sciences. Advising and mentoring students is also an important responsibility, as is involvement in the Gerstacker Institute for Professional Management, an honors program affiliated with the department.
