*ESA Conference in Tucson features links between Marketing Research and Behavioral Economics.*

The *Economics Science Association Meeting* attracts economists who conduct field and lab experiments. In this conference you will find many researchers who build and test models grounded in marketing research and are excited about consumer behavior. The central theme of this year’s conference is *Marketing and Prediction Markets*. In addition to Leif Nelson (UCSD) and John Ledyard (Caltech) and I will deliver keynote lectures. The theme of my lecture will be on what that those in behavioral economics can learn from marketing research and what those in marketing research can learn from behavioral economics.

The conference will be held at the West Ward Look resort, Tucson, from Thursday November 13 through Saturday November 15. Jacob Goeree (Caltech) and Uri Gneezy (UC, San Diego) are organizing this conference and you can find more information about the conference at:

I encourage you to come to this conference and learn more about some exiting research that is relevant to consumer behavior.
