The Robert O. Anderson School of Management is seeking to fill one probationary appointment leading to a tenure decision in Marketing to begin August 2009. Rank will be contingent upon qualifications.

Minimum Requirements: Ph.D. in Business/Management with a concentration in Marketing. Consideration will be given to candidates who are near completion of their degree by Fall 2009.

Preference will be given to candidates showing a demonstrated ability, or promise to conduct scholarly research and publish in quality academic journals, and a demonstration of, or a potential for, excellent teaching. Teaching responsibilities primarily will be in undergraduate and graduate courses in consumer/buyer behavior, marketing research, promotion/marketing communications, sales, international marketing, or retailing. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal communication skills. Preferences given to candidates expressing a willingness to teach consumer behavior and who demonstrate a willingness to make a commitment to building and maintaining a strong marketing area within The Robert O. Anderson School of Management.

The marketing group is a small, cohesive group that is seeking to expand its course offerings to students of the Robert O. Anderson School of Management.
