Journal of Consumer Affairs Best Paper Award for 2008
Darryl E. Getter, of the Library of Congress Congressional Research Service, was selected as the first recipient of the Journal of Consumer Affairs best paper award for his article "Consumer Credit Risk and Pricing" which appeared in the Summer 2006 (vol. 40, No. 1) issue of the journal.
Announced by the editor at the 2008 ACCI conference in Orlando, this new Award recognizes leading high quality scholarship published in the Journal and the 2008 honoree was selected by the committee from the refereed research articles that were published in 2006 and 2007 issues.
