Assistant Professor Marketing
Job Announcement. The Department of Marketing and Management in the College of Business Administration at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) is inviting applications for an open position in Marketing at the assistant professor rank with emphasis in sales, retailing, services, strategic, and/or international marketing. The expected starting date will be fall 2009. This will be a tenure track position. Salary and benefits are AACSB competitive and appropriate for experience and qualifications. Responsibilities include scholarly research and publishing findings in top marketing academic journals, good pedagogy, and service on faculty committees.
Qualifications. Knowledge of sales, retailing, services, strategic, and/or international marketing reflected in prior publications and/or work experience is highly desirable. Good interpersonal and communication skills are important. Minimum qualifications for appointment at the Assistant Professor rank is a completed PhD in a related field by start date.
