Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing

The Department of Management, Marketing and International Business at the University of Texas-Pan American is seeking applicants to fill a tenure-track faculty position in marketing at either the assistant or associate level, pending budget or programmatic approval. The start date is Fall, 2009.

Responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, and service. Primary teaching responsibilities include undergraduate, masters, and doctoral level courses.

Requirements for appointment at the assistant professor rank include a doctoral degree in marketing or consumer research in hand from an accredited university by August 31, 2007. Candidates should demonstrate strong evidence or promise of scholarly research and effective teaching.

Applicants at the associate level should have a record of scholarship, teaching and service commensurate with rank. Applicants should specify the rank for which they are applying.
