LOYOLA MARYMOUNT UNIVERSITY anticipates at least one tenure track faculty position in Marketing at the rank of Assistant Professor for Fall 2009. Selected candidates must have the Ph.D. by September 2009 and advanced Assistant Professors are encouraged to apply.
We seek a candidate who has strong research skills regardless of the marketing sub-area. The candidate’s research agenda should be managerially focused and lead to publications in top journals. Loyola Marymount University requires excellence in teaching, as well as research. Therefore, strong teaching credentials or compelling evidence of potential at the undergraduate and MBA levels is required. An appreciation for the importance of a liberal arts education in the Jesuit tradition is desirable.
LMU is a Jesuit Catholic university located in the vibrant and ethnically diverse city of Los Angeles overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The School of Business is AACSB-accredited and offers undergraduate, MBA, and Executive MBA programs.
