One tenure-track position in Marketing at the Assistant Professor level.
The Goizueta Business School of Emory University is looking to hire an entry-level assistant professor position (tenure-track). The ideal candidate would have future promise as well as evidence of productivity. We will be interviewing at the upcoming ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Conference in San Diego this August. Candidates should be capable of balancing managerial relevance with methodological rigor, and also excel in the classroom. They should be sufficiently advanced so as to be able to complete all requirements for their doctoral degree by August 2009.
Our new, state-of-the-art building provides an environment highly conducive to innovative research and teaching. The recently opened Goizueta Foundation Center for Research and Doctoral Education has expanded the available space by over fifty percent. We have hosted the Marketing Science Conference in 2005 and the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø-Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium in June 2002. We offer generous research support and three-course teaching loads.
The Goizueta Business School at Emory University is growing rapidly in size and reputation. The marketing faculty continues to expand with the addition of Ryan Hamilton and Manish Tripathi from Northwestern University starting this fall. This is in addition to professors Sundar Bharadwaj, Doug Bowman, Sandy Jap, Dimitri Kapelianis, Ed Leonard, Jag Sheth, Ashish Sood, Raj Srivastava, Sri Venkataraman and Alberto Sa Vinhas. In addition, we have a small doctoral program with 8-10 students in residence at any time.
Please send curriculum vitae and any supporting documents to any of our marketing faculty, who will then forward them onto the search committee. Doug’s address is below as one option.
