Description
MARKETING: The Department of Marketing in the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University has an opening for a tenure track position as Assistant/Associate Professor beginning as early as Fall 2008 (or when the position is filled). The school is accredited by AACSB in both its undergraduate and graduate business programs.
Applicants will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses including Marketing Strategy, Marketing Research, and the ability and desire to teach a variety of other marketing-related courses as needed (there will be opportunities to develop a specialization in one of several niche programs). Conduct and publish scholarly research. Advise students. Serve on committees. Cultivate industry partnerships. Balance of good teaching, scholarly research with emphasis on refereed journal publications, and service is required for promotion and tenure. A Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing is required.

Requirements
Minimum: Doctorate in Marketing (by start date).Preferred: Prior marketing teaching experience with favorable student ratings, established record of scholarly research, and significant professional marketing experience. Candidates for associate or senior-level assistant rank must possess both a strong teaching record and a strong record of refereed journal publications.
