TENTATIVE FULL-TIME TENURE TRACK POSITION IN MARKETING

The Department of Marketing at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is anticipating an opening at the assistant/associate professor level starting Fall 2009, contingent on budgetary approval. The candidate will teach undergraduate and MBA courses in marketing, and should have the ability and desire to teach some combination of the following classes: Sales, Negotiation, Marketing Research, Database Management, Interactive Marketing or Marketing Strategy. The successful candidate must demonstrate potential to be an outstanding teacher, productive scholar and active contributor of professional, university, and community service. Promotion will be based on a balanced commitment to teaching, research and service. Opportunities for reduced teaching load, summer support, online teaching and travel support exist; grant writing will also be rewarded. In the Fall of 2009, the AACSB accredited College of Business will move into Hyland Hall, a new state-of-the-art building. Department representatives will be interviewing candidates at the Summer ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø Conference in San Diego, CA.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ph.D. in Marketing from an AACSB accredited institution. ABDs, who will have a Ph.D. at the time of appointment, will be considered.
