The School of Economics & Management of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, an EQUIS and AMBA-accredited institution encompassing the areas of Economics and Business Administration, is opening a tenure-track position in Marketing at the level of Assistant Professor. The School may also consider applications of outstanding quality from candidates willing to come to Portugal with the main purpose of doing academic research. Applicants must hold, or be about to complete, a Ph.D. in Marketing. Responsibilities include academic research and a teaching load of 110 hours per year at undergraduate, master’s, graduate and MBA levels. Though junior faculty is expected to concentrate on research, executive education may be available in the medium run. Classes are taught in English and knowledge of Portuguese is not a requirement. Candidates shall be ranked according to their research potential and teaching ability. Other positions (non-tenure track) at all levels may also be considered.
