Dear Marketing Education Colleague,
Do you know a junior faculty member that has the desire to become a Master Teacher someday? Perhaps you are just such a person. If so, will you please direct your colleague, or go yourself, to a study for the Society of Marketing Advances Doctoral Consortium, and, the Marketing Education Review.
We are seeking answers from junior faculty (people in their six years of full-time, university teaching) to the question: “What do you wish you knew your first year of teaching?”
The goal is to build a set of teaching principles: attitudes, techniques, and wisdom that will be useful to the first-year teacher. The results will be presented at the 2008 Society for Marketing Advances Doctoral Consortium Teaching Session, and reported in a special section of the Marketing Education Review.
Thank you for your help and service to the Society for Marketing Advances and Marketing Education Review.
