Advances in information and Internet technologies have opened global business opportunities and enabled the convergence of world cultures. This year’s conference theme, "Enriching Global Business Practices", focuses on the discovery of practices and methods that enable and enrich the globalization of electronic business. ICEB welcomes scholars of academia and professionals in business and government to participate in our forum, to be held in the melting pot of the Pacific, Hawai`i.

*Paper and Abstract Submission Instructions*
All papers must be written in English. Please follow the instructions below to complete your submission.
- Full papers and abstracts will be accepted. Abstracts are limited to 2 pages and full papers to 20 pages (8000 words, double spaced), not including references, tables and figures. All submissions will be double-blind refereed by independent reviewers on a rolling basis.
- All papers and abstracts must be submitted online via the "Online Submission" hypertext link. The deadline for submitting your paper or abstract is *June 1, 2008*. Notification of acceptance will be sent on *July 15, 2008*.
- When submitting your paper or abstract, you will need to separately submit the following information: (1) author(s), (2) affiliation(s), (3) complete mailing address(es), telephone/fax numbers and email address of the corresponding author, (4) title of the paper, (5) abstract (not to exceed 200 words), and (6) the selected topic area. Please remove any author information from the paper or abstract before submitting it.
- Submit (upload) your paper or abstract as an Adobe Acrobat PDF file.
- Camera-ready full papers and abstracts for publication in the conference proceedings must be received in PDF format no later than *August 11, 2008*. All pages beyond 12 (pages) will be charged for additional cost. Detailed page formatting instructions can be downloaded from the hypertext link below.

Presenters (i.e., authors who will present the paper) must be registered and have paid the conference fee in full on or before *August 11, 2008* to validate their attendance. Those whose registrations and payments have not received by the deadline will not be eligible to present.
- Accepted papers/abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings on CD-ROM. A hardcopy of the proceedings is available at an extra cost of US$100 and must be reserved either with your registration (prior to August 31, 2008) or through a separate e-mailed or faxed request (made prior to August 31, 2008).
*Special Journal Issue*
The International Journal of Electronic Business (Inderscience, Geneva) has agreed to invite the best papers of the conference for a review to a special issue. Best full papers will be recommended for fast-track blind reviews by the journal.
