I will be leading a discussion about various approaches used to teach a retailing management course. Some of the subjects that will be covered are techniques for motivating interest in the course, suggestions for team and individual projects, issues in managing team projects, class room exercises (debates, markdown simulations, geodemographic profiles, etc), field trips to stores an distribution centers, guest speakers, and case discussions.
