Canada-U.S. Business and Economic Relations
The College of Business and Economics at Western Washington University is recruiting for the G. Robert Ross Distinguished Visiting Professorship of Canada-U.S. Business and Economic Relations. The appointment will be made at the visiting full professor level.
Required Qualifications:
- Substantial knowledge of Canada-U.S. Business and Economic Relations
- Doctoral Degree or Senior-level Experience in Government or Business
- Demonstrated Ability to Teach at the University Level
- Effective Communication Skills
- Distinguished Record of Scholarly Research or Policy Analysis
The successful candidate will be expected to engage actively in teaching and scholarly activity on business and economic relations between Canada and the United States. The holder of the Chair will be expected to play an important role in communicating knowledge on Canada-U.S. affairs to within and beyond the university.
The Distinguished Professorship term of appointment is normally one to two years but may be modified depending on the availability of the candidate and the needs of the college. Compensation and scope of assignment are negotiable. Applications will be reviewed by the search committee and names of finalists submitted to the Dean of the college.
