The EQUIS accredited Lille School of Management (Groupe ESC Lille), is one of France’s most well-known business schools. It is a French "Grande Ecole", accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. Founded in 1892, the school is one of the oldest Business Schools in France. It offers a wide range of management programmes, taught in English and in French at Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral levels, as well as Executive Education. The School enjoys two state-of-the-art campuses in Lille and Paris and comprises 2,700 students, 65 core faculty members, 31 visiting professors and 450 adjunct professors. The School has developed partnerships with more than 60 universities all over the world.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated and enthusiastic international team committed to furthering the School’s European reputation. The marketing and sales department has privileged research relationship with the University of Lille II and “CENTRALE Lille” school of engineers.

The research team is part of Lille Management School Research Center (A joined center with University of Lille II with ten PhD and ten doctoral students in the field of Marketing).

In marketing, two research streams are developed:

  • multichannel strategy and behaviour and
  • sustainable marketing and consumption

European crossroads just 38 minutes from Brussels, 1hour from Paris and 1 h and 25 minutes from London, Lille really deserves its title of City of Heritage and Art. Lille captivates the region through its charming character, rich cultural history, and dynamic business environment. The city of Lille offers much excitement through museums and exhibitions, Flemish cuisine, street café culture, sophisticated shopping, recreational activities, and a bustling nightlife.

Job Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Doctoral degree or a PhD in marketing (or should be at the end of the process), from an AACSB accredited school (strongly preferred).

Fluency in English is required. Courses will be taught in English. Fluency in French is worthwhile. Applicants must have flexibility to teach a mix of graduate and under graduate classes in marketing. The successful candidate will be expected to design and teach courses at all levels and conduct academic research.
