POSITION DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES
York College is in the midst of exciting restructuring and growth, as our slogan "On The Move" illustrates. With new programs and centers of excellence being developed, we are seeking to expand our cadre of outstanding and student-centered faculty to help enrich the academic environment in which students learn and grow.
Join the movement towards excellence in teaching, research and service. We invite all applications!
Teach basic and advanced courses in at least one of the following fields: Management, Human Resources, Logistics/Supply Chain Management (SCM), Finance and/or International Business; conduct research leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals in field of specialization; provide service to the College, including student advisement and service on departmental and College committees; assist with curriculum development and in the implementation of e-business and electronic commerce curriculum components; and other duties appropriate to rank. Teaching assignments may include evenings and weekends.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
An appropriate earned doctorate in hand prior to June 30, 2008 is required; some college teaching experience preferred.
