Marketing Tenure Track Professor Position

The Position: The Department of Finance and Marketing at California State University, Chico invites applications for one Tenure Track faculty position, beginning Fall 2008 or later. The department is developing a new Center for Professional Sales and is especially interested in candidates with teaching skills and research interests in this area. Teaching interests in the following areas are also desirable: Strategic Marketing, E-Marketing and International Marketing.

Minimum Qualifications:
Doctorate (ABD will be considered)
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctorate in Marketing from an AACSB accredited university
Evidence of superior teaching if the applicant has taught at the college or university level
Evidence of publication in referred journals relevant to the marketing area
Responsibilities: Because the mission of the CSU, Chico College of Business includes a focus on technology and we are an SAP Alliance school, it is desirable that candidates be willing to integrate technology into their teaching. The ideal candidate is one who can balance excellent teaching with research productivity.
Salary:
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. California State University offers a competitive benefits and retirement package. This is a tenure track position. Initial appointment will be for two years, and is renewable.
The Department: The department offers an Option in Marketing for the B.S. degree in Business Administration: . The Marketing Option is the largest one within the College of Business, and continues to grow. We also offer Minors in Marketing and International Business.
