FACULTY POSITION
The Department of Marketing and International Business of the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track faculty position starting in September 2008. The department is seeking an assistant professor who can teach standard undergraduate and graduate courses, such as, Integrated Marketing Communications and Service Marketing. Prior teaching and/or research focus in one or more of the following areas are advantageous: e-Marketing, Product Strategy, Retailing and International Business. Successful candidates should have a completed Ph.D. degree; a demonstrated record of research and/or strong potential for research. Relevant work experience is a plus. Salary is competitive.
The undergraduate and Master?s business degree programs of C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University are AACSB accredited and are listed in the Best 290 Business Schools for 2008 by The Princeton Review. The C.W. Post campus is one of three major campuses of LIU and is located on 307 acres of the Gold Coast (north shore) of Long Island, 25 miles east of New York City. The campus is in the proximity of headquarters of many world-class financial and consumer product multinationals as well as the center of business media, marketing, communications and public relations organizations.
