The American Collegiate Retailing Association and Ryerson University, Toronto, invite talented and motivated students with an interest in Retailing to participate in a unique learning experience. A "Charrette" is an intense, interdisciplinary activity in which students are placed in diverse teams to compete to solve a complex problem. (It has been compared to a live case study or to "The Apprentice.")

The problem the students will study remains "top secret" until the kickoff on March 26th, 2008. The Charrette will be hosted by Ryerson University’s Ted Rogers School of Retail Management and sponsored by ACRA, leading Canadian and global retailers and vendors. We will also hold a "Train the Trainer" session so that faculty can learn how to deliver this very effective and exciting learning and teaching technique. The Charrette student fee is $395 US, including 4 nights accomodation and most meals. Go to for the application form and details.
