Ithaca College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Marketing. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate marketing courses for students from the School of Business and other programs, with the possibility of teaching graduate marketing courses in the MBA program. The successful candidate will be expected to teach multiple courses, including Principles of Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research, and/or International Marketing. Teaching an elective course in the candidate’s field of interest is also a possibility. Involvement in scholarly research, student advising, and School and College governance are also required.
Candidates should hold a Ph.D./D.B.A. in Marketing or a closely related field. ABD’s may be considered. Rank at the assistant or associate professor level will be determined by qualifications. Evidence of excellence in college-level teaching is expected. Recent scholarly research published in refereed journals is required for appointment as an associate professor.
Located in the scenic Finger Lakes region of New York State, Ithaca is one of this country’s most livable small cities. The region is also home to a complex of premier commercial, intellectual, and cultural organizations.
