OPENING – VISITING FACULTY
Ibmec São Paulo is offering two positions for Visiting Faculty in Business or Economics. Ibmec São Paulo is a rapidly growing educational institution in
and offers Masters, executive training programs and undergraduate programs in Business and Economics.
Visiting Professors will stay at Ibmec São Paulo during 2008, in a period that can vary from one month (minimum) to one year (maximum).
We encourage applications from scholars currently working in educational institutions at different levels (assistant, associate, tenured). We also encourage applicants interested in both teaching and joint work with our faculty. Existence of an ongoing project with at least one of our faculty (research projects or case studies) will be an important aspect to be observed in the selection. Willingness to teach in one of our programs (such as Masters or EMBA) will also be a plus, in cases where the applicant is interested in staying for at least three months.
Ibmec São Paulo will offer a research stipend proportional to the number of months that the applicant is willing to stay at the school, and his or her stage in the career. Extra remuneration will also be provided if the scholar teaches in one of our courses. We will also cover travel expenses to (round-trip, economic class tickets).

Excellent candidates in other areas, however, are welcome. New hires should start in August 2008 or January 2009.
