I am delighted to announce the second annual meetings of the Behavioral Finance Forum. The mission of the Forum is to help consumers make better financial decisions. We attempt to do so by bringing together academics and financial services firms to devise new financial services and products that would:

  1. help consumers make better financial decisions,
  2. could result in a field experiment for your own research purposes, and
  3. be consistent with the objectives of financial services firms.

A list of our academic advisors and members as well as our industry members is avail at (click "about", then click "members").

We are currently soliciting ideas for new financial services and products. Free free to email me your ideas by Dec. 1, 2007. We will then review the ideas and select few for you to present to our industry members at our annual meetings (to be held at the Biltmore Hotel outside Miami on March 27 / 28). The proposals you email me could be as short as a page. We are just looking for good ideas at this stage.

If you have any questions or want to discuss your ideas, feel free to email me at benartzi@ucla.edu or call me at 310 206 9939.
