The Marketing Department of the School of Business Administration at The University of Mississippi invites applications for the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Marketing. This is a non-tenure track position with a year-to-year appointment with annual renewal subject to performance, funding, and staffing needs of the School of Business Administration.

Job Responsibilities: Teaching duties will consist of four undergraduate courses per semester (fall and spring) with the option to teach summer courses for additional pay subject to course and funding availability, and to perform other duties as assigned by the Dean or the Chair of the Department of Marketing.

Qualifications: To be considered for this position, the applicant must hold an earned doctorate degree in Marketing or a related field from an AACSB accredited or well-regarded program; have at least two semesters of university teaching experience; be qualified to teach courses in Marketing Principles and other Marketing-related areas; present evidence of a strong commitment to effective, high-quality teaching; have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; and be able to assume the position by the beginning of the 2008 fall semester.

The School of Business Administration is accredited by AACSB and offers programs at the undergraduate, MBA and PhD levels. Approximately 3,000 undergraduate students are currently enrolled in the School of Business Administration. Within marketing, there are currently over 600 Marketing majors and 185 Marketing Communication majors at the undergraduate level.
