THE BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT AT STONEHILL COLLEGE has one tenure-track position in Marketing available at the Assistant or Associate level beginning September 2008 The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Marketing or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited school, and will have a strong interest in teaching and scholarship. Preferred areas of undergraduate teaching include Direct Marketing, E-commerce, Retail Management, and Marketing Principles. Others can include International Marketing, Business to-Business Marketing, E-Marketing Strategy, and others. Established records of teaching excellence and research productivity are preferred, as is business experience.
The Department offers a rigorous and challenging pre-professional education to talented students and operates within a liberal arts environment. We seek an individual who will feel comfortable in a collegial environment among a full-time departmental faculty of sixteen. The Department is in the pre-accreditation stage for AACSB accreditation and consequently seeks an individual who is eager to contribute to our efforts toward continuous improvement, interdisciplinary teaching and research, and accreditation.
