Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Marketing
The School of Global Management and Leadership (SGML) at Arizona State University’s West campus is seeking an assistant, associate, or full professor of marketing to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses beginning 8/15/08.
The SGML provides an excellent environment for high quality research and teaching. We offer state-of-the-art facilities, teaching loads for research active faculty of 4 courses per academic year, summer research grants, and other forms of professional support. The School of Global Management and Leadership offers the MBA degree, as well as an undergraduate degree with an emphasis on global business. The school is currently in the process of developing several specialized M.S. degree programs in business. Our ideal candidate will be expected to do outstanding research with the potential to impact academic and management audiences. Moreover, candidates should have the ability to teach graduate and undergraduate courses, conduct and publish high quality research, and work in interdisciplinary areas. We also encourage candidates from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Marketing (one position). Required qualifications: A Ph.D. in marketing or related field from an accredited AACSB International or equivalent accredited institution; evidence of ability and interest in teaching courses in marketing research, innovation, or courses related to product development; evidence of teaching effectiveness in marketing; one year of teaching beyond the doctorate; and achievement in scholarship commensurate with the level of appointment. Desired qualifications: Maturity in the discipline commensurate with the ability to help the school develop a specialized M.S. program in marketing; evidence of graduate level teaching; experience in teaching in an AACSB International accredited program; evidence of outstanding foundation in research methods; evidence of interest in participating in externally funded research; and evidence of successful interaction with the business community, consulting, or industry experience.
