The Department of Marketing at Iowa State University seeks to add a new member to its faculty beginning in Fall 2008. Rank is open and salary will be competitive.
The position is open to persons holding a doctorate in marketing or related field with research and teaching interests in the areas of Business-to-Business Marketing and Customer Relationship Management. The selected candidate will be expected to teach Ph.D. seminars in these areas plus other graduate and undergraduate courses in marketing. Moreover, the selected candidate will be expected to make significant research contributions to the marketing literature and to mentor Ph.D. students.
Iowa State University is a land-grant university with an enrollment of approximately 26,000 students. The College of Business is located in a state-of-the-art facility which features technological tools that can be used for instruction and research purposes. The College is AACSB accredited at the Bachelors and MBA levels and will begin a PhD program in the Fall of 2009. The doctoral program’s areas of emphasis are customer relationship management, information systems and supply chain management.
Iowa State University is in Ames, a university community with a population in excess of 50,000 and is located 30 miles from Des Moines, the state’s capital and largest city.
