Deadline for Nominations: September 14, 2007

The ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø is seeking nominations and applications for the editor-designate of Journal of Marketing, the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø’s premier journal dedicated to the development, dissemination, and implementation of marketing concepts, practice, and information.

The new editor’s term starts July 1, 2008, following the term of current editor Roland Rust, and ends June 30, 2011.

Qualifications and major criteria for evaluating candidates are the following:

  1. Recognized authority in the area of marketing,
  2. Evidence of administrative ability,
  3. Commitment by the potential editor’s employer for resource support,
  4. Agreement to operate within ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø policies and strategic guidelines, and
  5. Willingness to make the time commitment.
