First Position
Assistant Professor of Logistics-Search # 53862
- Primary Teaching Fields: Courses in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management
- Required Qualifications:
- ABD within 1 yr of PhD or DBA degree completion from an AACSB accredited business program. (Must complete the degree by August 1, 2009.)
- University-level teaching experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain courses.
- Minimum of 2 years full-time work experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain management.
- Evidence (e.g., student evaluations) of above average teaching ability.
- Evidence (e.g. statement of research interests, samples of published work) of the ability to develop and implement a research agenda.
- Effective communication skills.
- Willingness to teach via web-based instruction.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to teach various logistics, transportation or supply chain courses.
- Ability to develop and deliver courses for the proposed DBA program in logistics and transportation.
- Evidence of the ability to successfully interact with local, regional and national business executives in the supply chain community. This may take the form of executive education or funded research projects with senior faculty in logistics, transportation or supply chain courses.
- Evidence of excellence in the classroom environment.
- Evidence of a developing or established research agenda. This research should reach both the practitioner and academic communities.
- Experience working with a diverse student body.
- Experience teaching via web-based instruction.

- Required Qualifications:
- ABD within 1 yr of PhD or DBA degree completion from an AACSB accredited business program. (Must complete the degree by August 1, 2009.)
- Ability to teach Retailing courses.
- University-level teaching experience in marketing.
- Evidence (e.g., student evaluations) of above average teaching ability.
- Evidence (e.g. statement of research interests, samples of published work) of the ability to develop and implement a research agenda.
- Effective communication skills.
- Willingness to teach via web-based instruction.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to teach in multiple marketing areas.
- Minimum of 2 years full-time work experience in marketing.
- Evidence of excellence in the classroom environment.
- Experience working with a diverse student body.
- Experience teaching via web-based instruction.
